Biographical note: Takashi Kubota

Takashi KubotaMr. Takashi Kubota joined the MOCOMILA as an observer in 2006. As professor at Waseda University Law School, he teaches International Financial Law, Cyberlaw, etc.  in Tokyo. He also serves for some Japanese Government Councils in the FSA, the METI, etc.
Before joining Waseda University, Mr. Kubota was an Associate Professor at Nagoya National University. Previously, he worked for the Bank of Japan.

Mr. Kubota was educated at the University of Tokyo (LL.B. in 1990, LL.M. in 1993), Harvard Law School (LL.M. in 1996) and Osaka National University, where he received a Ph. D. in International Public Policy in 2003.
